Laying turf is a straightforward process that can transform your outdoor space. Start by spraying the area with a weed killer to eliminate any unwanted vegetation. Next, ensure you have a solid foundation by providing

100-150 mm of good quality soil. Don't forget to add a complete lawn fertiliser and water storage crystals to promote healthy growth.

When it's time to lay the turf, follow a brick pattern, starting at a straight line such as a path, driveway or string line. After placing the turf, roll it for a smooth finish, ensuring it beds firmly against the moist soil. Immediately after laying and rolling a section, water it thoroughly. For the next two weeks, water the lawn twice a day to establish healthy roots. With these steps, you'll soon enjoy a lush and vibrant green lawn.
